Self-Discipline: Develop Good Habits. Achieve Your Goals is an excellent book for you if you desire to achieve your Big Hairy Audacious Goals(BHAGs) and feel like getting some motivation to change your ways. In most cases, we feel like we do everything we can to achieve our goals, but the truth is that things get in the way and we don’t prioritize our own goals. This makes us procrastinate a lot and because of that, we feel sad. We do have some big goals like being financially independent by achieving a certain level of net worth, therefore, to be more fit, to be able to achieve these goals and other things, we need to be more disciplined with ourselves. With the help of this book, we can do what we want to do with our life.

Each chapter is in an easy-to-follow format that is broken down into sections. This format makes it easy for people to read and help make the content less heavy. There is also something for everyone in every chapter. If you prefer things broken down in a list format, it's in this book. Do you like relatable situations? this book got that too. It also has some tips and tricks on how to stop things from getting in your way and achieve what you want. 

My key takeaway from the book is the conclusion that to be self – disciplined, your daily routine- habits MUST count. Your character is who you are and the character you possess is what you indulge in daily. Moving forward in life, being successful and getting over your past failures, requires you to achieve your goals and that means disciplining yourself. Procrastination is like a disease to most of us, but after reading this book,  you will no longer postpone things. There is a need to apply each tip that is in the book which will help us to improve our lives.

Self-Discipline is a book about developing good habits. The book will help you break down the barriers that are holding you back. For some of us, this book will not give us any earth-shattering new content but it will help us to reprioritize our habits, goals, and decisions.

I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a quick read that will allow them to analyze their daily habits, routines, and decisions. This book is a great tool to check and make sure you are still on track or help you get you back to where you need to be.
