Why You Need to Create an Empowering Vision Board

Sep 21, 2020

We all have dreams and visions we would like to achieve and there is no better way of representing them than creating our empowering vision boards. Our minds usually respond strongly to visual stimulation making a vision board the most valuable visualization tool that we can use to represent our goals using pictures and images.  What are your goals this month? Is it to enroll for a new course? Is it to succeed in your workplace? Is it to learn a new skill?

One of the best ways to achieve your goals is to keep them at the top of your mind such that you always have an opportunity to look at them and the best tool for this is a vision board. Put it somewhere you can view it every day, you will prompt yourself to visualize your ideal life regularly. And why is this important? Visualization usually activates the creative powers of our subconscious minds and programs our brains to notice available resources that were always there but we could not notice.

The purpose of a vision board is to try and bring our dreams into reality. Think about your goals putting into consideration all the 9 Domain areas. How would you like each domain to look like? Does your personal growth, spiritual life, health, and finances inspire you? Take a mental inventory and work on how you want these areas to look like. The best way to do this is to write them down rather than typing; There is something powerful about handwritten goals.

What you pay attention will expand in the long run. Think about your goals and aspirations and what you want to achieve at the end of it all. You will be amazed at how everything turns out once you set your intentions for what you want and how you want to feel.

I am challenging you in this 30-day challenge to try vision board; Be it having one main vision board or creating a bunch of small vision boards for the different areas of your life. Whatever makes sense to you in life, put that down in writing. I believe at the end of it you will have clear intentions and goals for what you want in life so you can grow and transform yourself.

A vision board works, here is the secret. You need to have a clear understanding of what you want; That is defining your goals; Finding your inspirations; Mapping out your board and then using your vision board. It gives you the power of choice. The question is not, “Are you worthy to reach your goals?” But is “Are your goals worthy enough of you?”-Bob Proctor
